On Easter Monday, April 24, 1916, a group of Irish nationalists seized key locations in Dublin from the British Army and proclaimed an Irish Republic. Ninety years later, Nike released the Dunk Low Pro SB Eire’ to help celebrate the historic rebellion. The shoe’s white suede upper and green linen overlays, as well as a Deep Orange suede Swoosh, are inspired by the colors of the Irish flag. An Irish Harp on the lateral heel gives the nod to Ireland’s heraldic emblem, while Éire—the Gaelic word for Ireland—is embroidered on the heel tab.
