A collaboration between ASICS and Concepts, the Concepts x Gel Lyte 5 ‘8-Ball’ was inspired by George Jung’s release from prison in 2014 following a long-term prison for smuggling cocaine. The shoe’s off-white suede upper sports perforations throughout for breathability, while the toe and heel of the tooling sport vibrant hits of red. A follow-up colorway, the ‘Coca,’ released in 2015.
